Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Text To Speech Reader - Read Aloud, a Google Docs add-on operated by App Would Work. By installing or using the add-on, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the add-on

You may use the add-on to read aloud text from Google Docs documents that you are authorized to access. You are responsible for your use of the add-on and for complying with applicable laws, workplace policies, school policies, and Google Workspace terms.

The add-on opens a Google Docs sidebar, reads selected text, the active document, or text from the cursor, and lets you choose browser voice options such as language, voice, and reading speed.

Google Docs and browser requirements

The add-on depends on Google Docs, Google Workspace add-on behavior, Apps Script, your browser, and browser speech synthesis. Voice availability, language support, playback quality, and performance may vary by browser, operating system, account, and Google Workspace environment.

Content responsibility

The add-on reads document text that you choose to access. App Would Work does not own, review, verify, or endorse your documents. You are responsible for having the right to access and use any content you ask the add-on to read aloud.

What the add-on does not provide

Text To Speech Reader - Read Aloud does not provide professional proofreading, translation, legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or guaranteed accessibility compliance. It also does not guarantee that every requested voice or language will be available. The add-on does not create or export audio files and is not designed to request broad Google Drive file access.

Availability and changes

The add-on is provided on an as-available basis. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Limitations

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the add-on is provided without warranties of any kind. App Would Work is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the add-on.
