How it works
Start reading in three steps
- Open the add-on from the Google Docs extensions menu.
- Pick the reading range: selected text, entire document, or from cursor.
- Choose a language and browser voice, then start listening.

Text is retrieved from the active Google Doc so the browser can read it aloud. The add-on does not generate audio files or request Drive-wide access.
